Well, finally I decide to subscribe at iAnimate, an awesome animation school directed from Jason Ryan, one of the best animator in the world, nowadays Supervisor Animator in Dreamworks. Even though its an online school and I am doing it from home in Rome (Italy). We got full access to the website which is overwhelming at first, but I think its going to be AMAZING! My tutor for the first class is a guy by the name of William Tessier, Senior Character Animator at Dreamworks. His most recent work was a movie called "kung Fu Panda 2" do you know?
But it also worked on Matrix Revolutions, Boog & Elliot, Bee Movie, Monster vs Alien, Dragon Trainer etcc..
I have 7 other students in my class from countries around the world. Brazil, Turkey, France, Canada, Serbia, Usa.
Well I hope some of you will bookmark this blog and follow my path as I journey through this intense 3 months program (workshop 1, the first of 6 workshop ) focusing on "Introduction to Feature Quality Animation". I will be posting videos of my assignments so you can see everything I am creating. Its going to start with a bunch of bouncing balls ...but I promise it will only better. I am very excited about going back to basics and doing ball bounces again. After a master in Cg at Big Rock Training Center, I decide to concentrate exclusively on the animation and this school, I'm sure, could help me on develop my skills.
Thank you to my friends and my family for supporting and allowing me to chase my dream. I can't even put it into words how much it means to me.
I promise I won't make you all read this much again.
I'm so excited I feel like a little kid at Christmas.
